Ownership of a picture, the right to convert it, and the right to publish the result all remain with whoever holds the rights in the original. This application is provided for lawful, private and educational use. If you intend to use a converted image commercially or publish it, obtain the necessary permission yourself and credit the author where the licence asks for it.
Pictures you upload are read directly by your browser and are never transmitted to, cached by or stored on this server. The application itself collects no personal data and keeps no server-side history of what you converted. If you use the image URL function, this site's server forwards that single request to the host you named in order to work around the browser's same-origin policy; the operator of that host necessarily receives the connection data of that request. Requests aimed at private or internal network addresses are refused. The chosen width, character set and tone settings are stored only in your own browser's local storage.
